Her's was a symbolic gesture - albeit by way of vandalism - which should be the extent of her crime. As for her cutting down the symbol of Christianity, I'd say that the Church (or most churches in general) really ought to take notice. They have practices that are hurtful and degrading to women and they should really just cut that shit off and wake up along with the better parts of humanity.
