For the past year they've protected him. He was full time with full benefits. Doesn't do nights. Doesn't do 2nd shift. Spent his days hiding in bloodbank, not carrying his weight.

They ran me into the ground while protecting him. When several techs walked in on him viewing porn online, he was given a warning and they assigned him at the other hospital where nobody knew. When a consultant told them to close 2 full time positions, they instead closed an open position I was about to apply for and cut back on per diems (me). I've been squeaking by sometimes on as little as 7 days/month of work. Last winter with my thermostat set at 52 most of the time and grateful for my garden which fed me this summer and has filled my freezer this winter.

And now the other hospital is being changed to an "urgent care center" and suddenly they brought him back to this one. That's when I was warned about the porn. Sure enough, a couple weeks ago I was exiting chemistry and there he was, out in the open in hematology, with lady parts up on his explorer screen.

Management finally decided maybe they didn't need to catch him in the act after all (their excuse to the techs that originally complained) and shit canned him. Seriously, he was so brazen at this point. They were lucky it was me that caught him, and not a doctor running in from the ER, which they sometimes do!

Still, they have some serious housecleaning to do there, from management down.
