Weird stuff is happening [View all]

I shop online and over the phone a lot. I'm still recovering, so it's easiest for me. At the same time, there are odd things happening. Two different orders got "lost" in two weeks. In other words, the order number was generated, our card was charged, but nothing arrived at our house. Obviously, this is not a matter of life and death, but it strikes me as very odd. (It's not Merc Retrograde, is it?) I'm wondering if anyone else here is experiencing some weirdness in their daily lives as well.

In the meantime, I have to give Banzai Bonnie a huge shout-out. My appointment with her was wonderful. I've been practicing the things she talked with me about, and yesterday, something amazing happened. Montlake Romances (division of Amazon.com,) asked me to submit my three-book series. I still need to do a lot of revising before submitting, but getting asked for three books is right up there with getting struck by lightning.

p.s. Okay, I have to amend my post... I wasn't clear. The senior acquisitions editor asked me to send her the full manuscripts of my three books. It's not a done deal. Mostly, even getting the chance is a big deal, and getting asked for three books at once is almost unbelievable. I'm sorry if I confused everyone. Thank you so much for all the really nice responses, though - I hope I'll have even better news to report soon!
