I would suspect, though, that her time there might not be happy - if the school principal really feels that strongly, I doubt she or other teachers supporting her views, would make the girl feel welcome. And as you say, a lot would depend on the attitude of other parents, because their views would be reflected by their children.

It's just very sad that it should ever have happened.
