Earlier I googled 'litiya' or 'litija', a vesper service held tonite on the eve of the Feast of Pentecost. The church artifact/accoutrement for the service holds the Artos [festal bread], wheat, oil and wine, three candles and a cross embellishment. Some of these showed up from various sources/merchants. Church already has one. But then, included in thumbnails were censers. One caught my eye. Uh, silver plated. Oh yah. $500+. What? Ebay. I signed in and started bidding. Several back and forths. What kept me going was that it was fashioned in Ukraine. So, last offer from vendor, I accepted. I did save $55. 😄 I believe it was meant to be. Texted our priest in the middle of negotiations. He said Glory to God! He like. What's not to like. 😄 Before I accepted the deal, I was mildly hyper- ventilatin'. At any rate, I did do this and I have peace about it. I have funds, but this was really stepping out in faith.
Thanks for listening everbody...
