I really dislike the way the Koch brothers are trying to hijack Roman Catholic social teaching through the Acton Institute and other avenues. Can the hierarchy publicly condemn the Acton Institute, considering that their economic views are arguably not in line with Catholic social teaching? You would think Fr. Sirico would have gotten the same treatment from the hierarchy as the liberation theologians did for stepping out of line.
