He wouldn't go for the surgery.
Like his doctors, I tried to persuade but failed.

You are already ahead of that situation.
You have some hope.

Please also remember this situation is hard on you too.
You can sit with him for hours and feel like you ran a marathon because of the emotions churning inside.
Family and friends need to step up.
Your husband needs you well.
