Most Americans believe in imaginary gods, an imaginary heaven and an imaginary hell. [View all]

So why are we surprised when they cast their votes to battle imaginary problems, or to support imaginary policies? Their religious beliefs predispose them to being suckered, to believe in make believe. The more fantastic the story, the better.
