Sometimes I forget about puppy energy. Intense bursts followed by much sleeping because they develop so quickly, relative to human babies, that is.
And the teething is always a challenge until the permanent teeth are in place. Those "milk bone" baby teeth are like little razors! It's always a question of what they chew along the way. With our last pup, we were lucky. He only gnawed on the various toys and dog chews that we bought him. But we've had other puppies who have destroyed shoes and damaged pieces of furniture. Just part of the price we pay sometimes. Hopefully you still have two feet by the end of this phase. 
It occurs to me that we're conversing in the Atheists & Agnostics forum. We don't worship god around here, but we sure as heck are devoted to god spelled backwards!
