We are all going to die. It is important to become familiar with an event we will experience and the Dalai Lama suggests contemplating your death every day. The thing is to be present. Live each day to your fullest capacity. Love unconditionally. Learn to control your anger, greed, jealousy...cravings and aversions. You might try meditating. Just sit with yourself and breathe in and out. Let the thoughts pass without hanging on to them and giving them a whole story line. When you find you have, let the thought go and bring your focus back to your breath. See/feel it go in and out. Try for a few minutes and add to that time as you can. The more you can be in the present without letting the thoughts control you, the happier you will be. Be compassionate with yourself.
