I miss him already and always will, but in my mind (even if no where else) he reunited with my mother and that image brings a rueful smile to my face.
I don't doubt that they are reunited, and healthy and young again. And I believe that not because of any religion's teachings, but because of personal stories I've heard from people in grief support groups.
