Interesting article.

I've been through Pierre quite a few times. It was a usual stopping point when I drove from Colorado to North Dakota. It has been a few years now since I've made that trip, but I found it kind of odd that the capital of the state didn't have more to it. I'm sure when it became the capital in 1889 it made sense to have it in the middle of the state, but in these modern times one would think it would make more sense to have it in Sioux Falls, which I think is just a lovely city, and has many more amenities.
