"none of the above".

Last time I walked my ED, there were only 35 Democrats registered out of the 900 voters. And this is in a largely Democratic town, so there weren't many more Republicans. Most were "no party preference".

In spite of assholes like Trump and Palin, I really think the republicans have a reputation (undeserved, of course) among the populace of being more "reasonable". They have answers that better fit the presumptions of many. That populace hasn't yet caught up with the insanity of the ultra-right.

We have to get back to the idea that we are the better pothole fillers and school teachers.
