"there was a long history between the city and MOVE leading up to that day."
that's like saying there was a long history between black youth and police in NYC leading up to stop and frisk.

the meaningful question is-
who initiated the "long history".

there is also a "long history" between Occupy and police.
so let's think about that when we think about Cecily being sexually assaulted. really?

You say you are "not excusing the actions of the police" but in fact by - balancing the two sides - you are excusing the police.

there is a "long history" between LA police and Black people.
so take that Oscar Grant you deserve to be shot in the back.
