History of Feminism

(42,510 posts)I cruise porn sites every so often to see what's up. The danger in movies like 50 Shades, unless there's something in there I don't know about, is people trying out things the when they have NO idea what they're doing. The other thing is women are trained from birth to be "submissive" not in an SMBD way-- just not sexually assertive. We get called names when we are. I actually think that's part of the basis for the popularity of the book.
SMBD practitioners in the local club I'm familiar with (no it's not my thing-- I just have a few friends) Are interviewed, toured, safe words carefully explained.
One time they put on a exhibition of women in stirrups with a lecture on female anatomy. I had a male friend that went, who said it was respectful and helpful. (Also not my thing, but the ignorance of people and sexual anatomy, male or female always shocks me. One time we admitted a person who had to have a candle surgically removed from their rectum-- we usually don't get those ones -- they go to another hospital and/or other floors)
