(18,226 posts)59. I still cherish the memory of the Betty Crocker baking kit I got as a Christmas gift back in the 50s
It had an oven, and I made brownies and cakes and everything with it. They were edible and tasted good! Somehow, my mom didn't think this was an inappropriate gift to give to a little boy.
I've done a lot of the cooking in my family, and I turned out fine.

No! I bought my son "girls toys" as well as "boys toys". Cooking toys. But never weapon toys.
