27. The "uglieness on DU" thing is overstated.

Comments are sometimes made that are beyond the pale. That's life. But more often than that, there are simply different perspectives, frankly presented. Learn from it. Do we need to water down every discussion and purge every perspective that makes us uncomfortable? I've been on the forum for 15 years (low post count not withstanding) and the number one reason I come here is to learn how to answer back.
