I keep hearing comparisons to Blazing Saddles, which also crossed the appropriateness line in many ways. Well, actually it was pretty racist in its language and pushed the envelope at stereotypes. However, Blazing Saddles poked at racism itself, not of an ethnic group. Also? It was made decades ago and times do change. Mel Brooks has said he'd never be able to make that movie now. So why is some idiot like Sandler doing it? I'm glad they walked off set.
