You know... [View all]

I'm a democrat. Supporting a democratic candidate for president of the United States.

Also, I support women. I am a feminist.

I support common goals of progressives.

The second fact gets me branded as a hater or troll or disruptor. Discussing feminist issues here has brought the wrath down upon me and I am considered a troll. An enemy of democrats. And I don't think it's just the members here. I do not abuse the jury process. I received a response from an admin in ATA where I believe it was implied I was a hater. I would like to know.. a hater of what? I am not sure how else to take the response.

It's really really weird isn't it, though?

I do not personally attack people here with personal insults. I do have retorts and responses to what I believe are sexist or misogynist comments. I guess it's frowned upon to do this here, though.

Have you experienced this? I cannot believe I am the only one. Looking for some ideas on how to combat this mindset. I am not a hater. Nor am I a disruptor.
