Turn off the sound while watching TV and movies. Pay attention to the difference in how the camera depicts female bodies versus male bodies. The camera often slides up and down on female bodies, and tends to focus in on breasts and crotch area, while there's much less focus on our faces. Compare that to how the camera focuses on male bodies. It is also painfully noticable that women are shown with little or no choice about which male character they are paired with. The men claim them, often through force.
