My experience with the healthcare marketplace was strange but I also found the reaction to my experience strange. This is like trickle-down psychopathy from the white house to our house.I called the marketplace to get some information to choose a health care plan. The representative was helpful and after some plans were suggested I concluded the call and did some of my own research at another insurance company produced web site.

About a week later I get a letter saying my application was approved and I would get a membership card and and billing statement.I was shocked so I called the marketplace to see how this happened.Their reply was that at the beginning of the call I give permission to the representative to assist me in submitting an application for coverage.

I did not give permission for my digital signature either so somewhere someone has the authority to do this but they say not from "our" marketplace. They did not have an application number that could produce a paper trail. They said to contact the the insurance company to complain so I went to their office that was lucky enough to be down my street.

The representative was surprised by my story but did not have an answer as to how it happened without an application number.Perhaps I was signed up because the representative get paid when they sign up a policy so they used my data to do that along with my digital signature. They said call the marketplace to cancel the application so I did that and they said I could ignore the billing statement and membership card but it would arrive.

I spoke to a health plan "assist-er" and they were surprised and never heard a story like this before. My confidence in the insurance company was wrecked by this if they were involved as well as my confidence in the marketplace if they were involved.I was able to talk to the right people who were able to help me but now I am looking at collection agencies trying to get me to pay that bill and explaining this situation.

Somebody out there wants to get people by abusing their authority and does anybody complain or do they just accept their new plan.I might have accepted it myself but it was a lousy plan perhaps another way to abuse people.Christmas wonder has become chaos I will consider every call I make to the Federal Government to expect Mr. Mayhem to appear and leave a psychopathic trail of wreckage.

Psychopaths are so successful because normal people cannot conceptualize the evil thought and deeds they are able and willing to inflict.I got caught in that trap at such a seemingly safe space as the healthcare marketplace.Psychopathy is a form of lone wolf terrorism without military style assault weapons.Serial killer Ted Bundy wore a necktie and drove a beetle to lure his victims.
