One of my greatest sources of disappointment in the Democratic Party is the outright cowardice in our pursuit of gun control. We should have extremely strict controls comparable to Japan by now and be on the way to an outright ban (except for muskets which are all people need for hunting anything not a person).

It's my hope and belief that Hillary will do us proud. While it won't be overnight I think we can accomplish a few major goals in her first term (and hopefully even more in her 2nd term!!).

First term goals:
1) Assault Weapons ban- no questions, no "grandfathering" and no excuses, ban them
2) Licensing- require licensing to purchase, posses or even look at guns, bullets, parts of guns etc.
3) Registration- We can't possibly expect to for any measure we pass to work if we don't know who has what. It's crazy to think that your neighbors could have arsenals and no one will know until they start killing people.
