even memberships, are no longer important to the NRA. They are almost wholly subsidized and supported by the gun and ammo manufacturers.

If you ever joined the NRA at any time they count you as a member, even if you haven't donated in years and oppose the organization now. All they need is the Koch Brothers and the deep pockets of the gun/death industry.
