Chinese guns and ammunition have been banned since the 90's. There is a more recent Russian EO, but it's not a total ban, if I remember correctly the State Dept is denying all new or pending import applications, but already approved ones are still valid. There was speculation that some of the import companies already had dozens or hundreds of approved imports backlogged and would not exhaust them for a year or 2 or more.
