Conclave [View all]

It was discount day at the local movie house so a buddy and I went to see Conclave. Though there's a plot twist near the end that seems to come out of left field and for which I did not much care (it seemed unnecessary), I thought that overall it was a very good film, carried by some really good performances. Ralph Fiennes in particular was excellent, and Stanley Tucci and John Lithgow were good as well. I am aware that it was based on a book, but I am not familiar with the source material so perhaps the twist was in the book as well.

If anyone has seen the movie, read the book or both, please share your thoughts.
