The last time we went we had a pair of dipshits a few rows back of us making all kinds of noise. I looked over my shoulder at them and one of them threatened to punch me out or some such crap. I got up and found the theater manager out in the lobby and asked him to do something about the pair of aholes making all the noise. Instead of doing anything about it he took the "both sides do it" approach and threatened to throw us all out if we didn't quit arguing (bothering him the manager). I said screw it. asked for a refund and we left.
Theaters have lost any semblance of quality and instead have become places where noisy shitty people gather to talk and use their brightly lit noisy ringer cell phones without any sort of respect for others who paid too much for the shitty experience.

My big screen, pair of wireless ear phones, and my nearby fridge give me a much better experience at a much lower cost. I'll never go to a theater again.
