2. I've read some of his books over the years

but I have never read Christine. The movie was mostly 'meh' for me. I don't know, it just didn't resonate with me the way The Shining did. Though, I understand that some Stephen King devotees take issue with Stanley Kubrick's adaption. But, it's in my top 25 of all time and easily my favorite horror movie, which may not mean much given I'm a fraidy cat.
