My doctor also thought that "that much fat" would cause me to have a heart attack, but I explained that eating butter (for example) instead of margarine (which is nothing but modified fats) would help. I avoid HFCS - even if it says it has a very little bit in it, I won't touch it. I eat a lot of walnuts, almonds, etc... but we just found out that one of my twins is "moderately to severely" allergic to walnuts and peanuts so I am afraid to even open the jar in front of him (LOL).

I had a bunch of antibody tests run that showed that I wasn't Type 1 or Type 1.5, but I still don't produce much insulin, so insulin works better for me than Byetta did.
