I suspect the vast majority of folks who don't live in coal-bearing regions (and probably many who do) have no idea how many millions of PR propaganda dollars are being spent by the coal industry to brainwash the populace.

I'd encourage anyone interested in this topic to click some of the links on the sidebar of the site (see above link), especially CoalSwarm and FrackSwarm, where this topic is discussed in more depth.

Should you think this propaganda campaign is limited to just Appalachia or the U.S., check out this article I posted to Australia Group. It reads as if it could have been ripped straight from the pages of the Charleston Gazette.
