Go ahead and ask an attorney, but from what I've learned, it'll be hard to find an attorney who'll take the case. If they don't think it's a slam dunk, they won't take you on. Be skeptical of any attorney who seems eager for it. You'll have to get the person's medical records, which will cost you something, but maybe not too much.
