They don't smell but they are metal so they can't be in a carry-on. I find they are more economical than bud and they hit me harder...more bang for your buck.

Get a deodorant (stick) and put them in there once you push the deodorant up and chop it off half way to create a space. Make it a non clear brand of deoderant and round it off to make it look used.
