Y'all are great

Ended my self imposed exile today for awhile to engage in some nice relaxing discussion of religion, Israeli/Palestinian relations and Russian propaganda! (Why do I do this to myself??)

Anyway, just checking in to say I'm not dead (for those who care), and I shouldn't be dying anytime soon :-P

Tests came back mixed. Made sure something spotted on an ultrasound likely wasn't cancer, but my liver is in bad shape. It's probably fixable though with some lifestyle changes. Lost 7 pounds since I made this thread!

Also, since this is the Bernie Sanders group, I just want to reiterate how big a topic universal healthcare and education is to me.

I've had chronic pain for over a decade now, been diagnosed with lupus, arthritis, and a couple of other degenerative conditions. All of which I've also been undiagnosed from, while getting thousands of dollars in doctor bills, sometimes double or triple billed. And that's all before someone actually found something definitely wrong with me, which ended up costing another several grand.

That's what really soured me on Clinton, her change on universal health care. Going that extra step beyond attacking the feasibility of such a plan to pass Congress, to sending her daughter out there to lie about the plan, lie about progressive taxation, and actively attack universal health care... it's disgusting. That's when I felt truly betrayed by the party.
