In reply to the discussion: Are Joe and Bernie speaking out against fucking hoarders? [View all]Sloumeau
(2,657 posts)17. The CDC said that people at higher risk should stock up on supplies:

The non higher risk people may have gone along because perhaps they are afraid that when the high-risk people are done there will be nothing left.
If you are at higher risk of getting very sick from COVID-19, you should:
Stock up on supplies.
Take everyday precautions to keep space between yourself and others.
When you go out in public, keep away from others who are sick, limit close contact and wash your hands often.
Avoid crowds as much as possible.
Avoid cruise travel and non-essential air travel.
During a COVID-19 outbreak in your community, stay home as much as possible to further reduce your risk of being exposed.
The non higher risk people may have gone along because perhaps they are afraid that when the high-risk people are done there will be nothing left.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

I certainly hope not! Because that is a picayune thing for a national candidate to worry about.
