37. I live in Mass and the gov here would be a democrat anywhere else outside of the state

That said the gov does not appoint a replacement - it is done by special election between 145 and 160 days since the vacancy. The only power the governor has is to decide a date within that.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
