Someone, Mr. Perleman I believe, who has written extensively on modern conservatism, observed the great prevalence of advertisements for many scams in conservative journals, and on conservative radio programs. Quack cures and fantastic investment opportunities, and of course, donations to conservative action groups that somehow put very few advertisements on the air, or donate much money to conservative politicians, with the great bulk of the monies being siphoned off as the 'costs' of fundraising appeals and administration of the sums collected. One suspects there are elements of the left prime for such exploitation, though the approach would need to differ somewhat....
