(1,089 posts)What did they expect...for Joe to lead Bernie out on a leash and his hands and knees and have BS lick his shoes and kiss Jill's wedding ring? I'm 99.99% sure that Biden and his boys are pleased with today's events...so I fail to see why DUers aren't also satisfied and exhaling a big sigh of relief.
Considering where we were just a short 5 or 6 weeks ago, we couldn't have asked for a better outcome. It ain't even mid-April and we already have our presumptive nominee...unlike the bitter bloodbaths of 2008 and 2016. Maybe old habits are just hard to break...some folks here have been bashing Bernie for so long (myself included at times) that they are at a loss as to what to do now. No doubt in my mind what's next...besides, reading umpteen threads and posts about how Bernie needs to drop out was getting mighty old mighty fast anyway.
I'm just looking forward to BO entering the public limelight again and start joining the fray...we all know how anything Obama drives the Fuhrer totally up the wall. Hard to believe Trump can possibly get any more unhinged, but if anybody can push him completely over the edge Barack can.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
