(58,785 posts)15. Actually, I think it's time for those to belatedly learn who Joe is.
No need to "risk your life" for a "meh" candidate when you can sensibly take a stand for someone who you have a well-founded belief will do a good job, if not the one you would have wished for in an ideal world. To have good government, you must first elect good people. The rest is details.
Biden is a good, honorable, honest man.
As for that "risk your life," come on. That's for old folks like me, and strictly for those too afraid to even do a monthly shopping. Bless their hearts, no doubt we do have some heroes among them taking a stand anyway on their election days.
If we fail to vote, we dont count. .... I just hope that, in spite of whatever is going on now, that people will not be afraid to come out and vote. We have to vote. Genuine hero, no delusions, Congressman John Lewis
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

I'd argue we don't need to be wasting time "rallying" intractable ideologues either

I believe he will rise to the occasion. (I voted for Liz in the primary.)

And I wish I was voting for a candidate without so many exploitable deficits.

Apparently the majority of the voting Democratic electorate disagrees with your "meh" description.

Yes. It's time for everyone disappointed in Biden to give him their support.

Damning with vapor-praise. Will world leaders greet Biden with 'meh' when they all gather together?

Why are you so negative? I'm wrong and wrong-headed for KNOWING who I know?

Hope everyone gets their negative vibes about Biden out of their system now, so when Autumn comes...

Today is a cool, damp and windy day in Maryland... it feels like Autumn is already here!

So you finally admit to taking cheap-shots at our party's nominee? Thank you.
