3. From what I've read, Obama is saving his ammunition to act as Unifier

Once the nominee is chosen, regardless of the outcome, Obama's clout will be needed to heal and bring together. Depending on who our nominee is, that might be too late in the greater scheme of things. The former First Family went all out for 2016, backing and rallying for HRC after the primary was closed. But the Repugs still managed to tilt the table.

Barack Obama has always been cognizant of how his words could be perceived as putting his thumb on the scale. This time I really wish he would but I seriously doubt it.
