Everything necessary to sustain human life for a couple million people has been destroyed.

There is no water. No infrastructure, medical care. Nothing.

What is going to happen now became an inevitability many, many months ago.

Letting them "back" is nothing but a charade and what's been done is vile beyond anything I've seen.
