"eskimo cousins " sexual? incestual? anti indigenous??

"eskimo kisses" is a saying, like maybe "rubbing noses" but "kissing cousins"??? maybe he is mixing metaphors

are the greenlanders technically eskimos? aleuts , but i can't swear to know the difference

"unleashed spirits that he could not control" is another weird turn of phrase. maybe backwoods fundamentalist?
kennedy used that one twice.
