If any of us (assuming most of us are U.S. born citizens) had written and published the same essay, would we be taken off the public streets by ICE agents, dressed in civilian clothing to an unmarked vehicle, whisked away, sequestered, and flown to another state where we would be incommunicado with family, friends, attorneys, etc.?

Maybe not today because the students on Visas are for testing to see if the Administration can get away with it. Tomorrow, it could be dissidents who are homegrown Americans. Fascists don't stop at one demographic.
