I'm an Australian living in Denmark. I am sure there are a lot of Americans who are not happy with Trump, but there are also roughly half that voted for him despite knowing what he did the last time and it being clear what he would do this time around ... more of the same but worse! So from my perspective, you got exactly what you voted for and none of this should come as a surprise. I see Trump as a more extreme version of what many Americans (not all of course, but many unfortunately) have always been - very entitled and arrogant. I have been lectured by Americans about how they saved our arse in WWII - yeah right, you guys did not enter the war when pleaded with by the the UK, France and others. You came late after Pearl Harbor. You have always looked out for your own interests primarily, and I doubt it was ever about protecting us but rather your quest for world domination. Europe, Australia and your allies supported you in every stupid war you went into (Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, etc) and many of us lost more lives per capita than you did. We did not ask for money or compensation. We bought your weapons. America is a disgrace and I for one will be glad when we no longer need to rely on you, hear your lecturing and telling us what we can and can't do.
