For Dems to talk to the academics and the well-off and ignore the working class?
I don't think she was saying ignore everyone in favor of the working class, BUT they are the people Dems seem to be not quite reaching and they require a different type of message than some other groups.
Our family is comfortable at this point, but I remember having to count pennies and take a calculator to the grocery store, to decide weather gas, food, or heat was the priority until next paycheck. I still think that advocating for the working class will help everyone.

I'll agree. The word "brawlers" means a lot of things n I'm not getting hung up on a word. Her intent is more important
