control the message, which brainwashes the voters.

I truly believe that a huge reason that Harris lost was just this - reinforced by a similarly effective noise machine operating on social media. Since we don't have a not for profit media, this will continue to be a huge problem.

Some big money is going to have to come out and start to fund and build better ways to get the message out. And the message has to be clearer, less complex. Right wing messages are easy memes for the most part, easily repeated ad infinitum so that they stick.

Without solving this huge disadvantage, the left will be continually playing catch up.
