Midterms [View all]

I want to start now to contribute a little to the Midterm battles. I think it's important to try to claim the majorities. What message should be initiated? Something obvious but positive. There's a lot of very negative things that can be said about trump et al., all true, but my approach is to cheerfully urge people to vote Blue. Since I am in a Blue state, that won't be hard. My city is red, however, so my idea will be risky. Small, one liners for quick reads. Nothing too provacative, like, "Trump is a vicious, vile rapist," or, "Trump is a felon." Although, turning something into a question might be acceptable. "Did you really want a felon for President?"

Should the emphasis be on negative trump, or should it be just on the positive Dem party? Is it possible to pick a candidate for any position and promote that one person?

I also think that something along the lines of "Psst: what happens in the voting booth stays in the voting booth," you know, to encourage people to vote Blue without risk, might help.

I can't do much, but I think it's important to show up with physical action of some sort. I want to be committed to winning the race. All ideas are welcome. I'll be writing them down.
