Visible, public pressure. Is it time to think of mass gatherings, and seek appropriate leader/speakers? [View all]

Thinking back to ways that we make change happen - even in this lazy age of being internet warriors - the Civil Rights movement, pressure to end our involvement in the Vietnam War - yes, that was then....but this is now.

Reverend Barber? Adam Kinzinger? Bishop Budd? Liz Cheney? Barack Obama? And so many more we could come up with -

Significant gatherings would press the issue - would MAGA really use force against its own citizens? How would the media cover it? I feel like this is a missing piece. It could start small and local. A few could be well organized and massive. The general theme has to be that our Democracy - our Constitution - is under threat from a violent cult and a wanna be dictator.

And yes - it could be dangerous. It will pull people out of their comfort zones. But isn't it worth it as another prong of a solution to make the next four years as uncomfortable as possible for "them"?

Thoughts?
