Jimmy Carter lived long enough to vote for Harris/Walz!

According to the twitter, he voted early today and we know who he voted for!

Thank you for always doing your best for our country, President Carter. Here's to a lifetime of service!

…or you can bet that, should Harris win Georgia, Republicans will charge voter fraud and demand that all early votes be thrown out.

The laws about votes not counting if a voter dies before the election all seem to refer to absentee (mail in) ballots only

When a voter votes in person, their vote is counted I believe most states laws only refer to the mail-in absentee ballots can be challenged or thrown out, but not votes that are made in person

honorable human being by nature and example.
Humble of heart and with purity of purpose,he demonstrated his worthiness to be Commander in chief.
His legacy of decency will serve as an example in the history books..if Project 2025 doesn't delete history books.

Georgia seems to have nothing in place. The law seems to be silent on this matter.

Here is a link with an overview of state laws.

Jimmy and Rosalyn didn't just talk the talk they walked the walk as per being real Christians and like Joe Biden they lived their faith in trying to help others.

Jimmy has made 20 months in hospice when
most stays in hospice care are about 70 days. He is an inspiration.

It’d be nice if a vote from the man who won the Presidency 200 years after the country’s declaration of independence could help extend that democratic experiment to its 250th anniversary.

He was a civil rights lawyer and activist, and he died in 2009. He would have been appalled by what the other party has become and would have loved Kamala.

I’m so glad President Carter made it. What an inspiration.

Next step: Outlive the Guinea worms.

The Carter Center has got it down to just 14 cases in 2023. (Down from ~3.5 million in 1986) And just 7 cases so far in 2024.

For those interested, there's a "Donate Now" button on the top right of
