who sexually harassed me my entire childhood. I diligently taught myself to wish for a functional family, and not to "hate" as I understood it then. He was still grooming me even after I left home, and he never gave up. I gained nothing and suffered a lot because of my youthful, do-right attitude toward a person who was evil.

I get it when people say that the word "hate" is not enough to describe what they feel, or that they prefer some word that encompasses some lesser degree of loathing. And, I totally believe that hate will hurt you, make your body unhealthy, and will slow you down in your quest for the perfect soul. But, damn, I hate Trump, his kin, his friends, his political allies, his wife's Christmas decor, and everything else that reminds me of Trump. I promise to work on it, but I still voted Yes. Voting Yes made me feel better.
