2. it's hard for people to understand these are a bit different from traditional vaccines

They are extremely safe (probably the safest vaccines ever) and the overwhelming scientific consensus is they are highly effective at preventing serious COVID, but a person can still have "silent" or "soft" COVID and transmit it by not wearing a mask. Breakthrough cases are _extremely_ rare but happen often enough that we aren't quite out of pandemic status yet.

Your mask protects me and my mask protects you. We'll still need to wear masks even when we're on our Nth booster due to silent/soft COVID; maybe even forever.

Thank you everyone here for continuing to take masking and COVID seriously.
