The E. Jean Carrol case should be enough [View all]
I think that the civil findings against Donald Trump in the rape case should be enough to convince any "normal" voter that Trump is unqualified to serve as President of the United States. Please don't reply about MAGAts being unconvinced. Any conviction in any case will not dissuade the hard-core cultists. I already know that. I don't live under a rock. I'm talking about the slice of the electorate, mostly Independents, who can still be persuaded.
Every time an elected official, like Chris Sununu, for example, or Nikki Haley, say that they will support Trump in a General Election against Biden, they should be confronted with the question, "are you comfortable supporting a person who is adjudicated as a rapist by a unanimous jury verdict?"
In response to anyone who says that this was a New York jury, first of all, a lot of those jurors in the first case came from counties that Trump carried. Second, Trump still got more than a third of the vote in New York, why didn't he get at least 3 not responsible votes from the jury?
Trump is a rapist, pure and simple.
